Designed for a limited period, it allows participants to engage intensively with various aspects of Japanese culture, offering meaningful learning experiences even within a short stay. *********** ■ About the Host Family The host family is fluent in English, allowing participants to deepen their cross-cultural understanding while feeling secure in daily life. The household includes three children (one in their 20s, two teenagers, male and female), providing a valuable opportunity to experience authentic Japanese family life. Two small indoor dogs also add warmth and charm to the home, giving participants a genuine sense of everyday life in Japan. *********** ■ About Meals Breakfast and dinner are provided daily. Using seasonal ingredients, meals combine Japanese and Western home-style cuisine, allowing participants to naturally experience Japan’s culinary traditions. Please note that on some days, dining out may be necessary. *********** ■ About Activities During the stay, participants may take part in over 50 Japanese cultural activities, including traditional sweets making, calligraphy, and yukata wearing, available on weekdays. Each activity is offered as a single-session experience, but exposure to a variety of fields during the short stay enables a broad and multi-dimensional understanding of Japanese culture. After booking, a full list of cultural activities will be provided for participants to select their preferences. *Please note that, depending on the season and number of participants, some requests may not be accommodated. *********** ■ Program Fee Includes ・Cultural education-focused homestay (with breakfast and dinner) ・Participation in Japanese cultural activities (including hands-on workshops and day trips) ・24-hour emergency support ・Activity photography and provision of images *Optional airport pickup service (Hisamitsu Pickup) is also available for an additional fee.
